35,000 treat-filled eggs across Gorgas Park, hunts staggered every 10 minutes by age group (1–2, 3–4, 5–7, 8–10) plus a dedicated lane for children with disabilities. Free face painting, petting zoo, balloon animals, inflatables, and photos with the Easter Bunny. Pony rides are $5 cash. Easily the biggest egg hunt in the city.

Free indoor rock climbing from Philadelphia Outward Bound School, a good one for the older siblings. The environmental resource fair runs outside, and the new Resource Library launches with giveaways and refreshments from 2–3:30 PM. It'll be mid-40s but sunny, so layers. The Discovery Center sits on the reservoir with views of the water and tons of greenery. Most people have no idea it's there.

We've done these with our 6-year-old. There are usually extras, and if you ask nicely you can take a second set home for a friend.

Craft Hall is running its own bracket tournament with eight over-the-top mac & cheese mash-ups competing for a permanent menu spot. Your orders decide who advances, and this weekend is down to the final four. All macs are $12. Good way to get the sports-fanatic family out. Games on the big screens, kids running around in one of the most kid-friendly restaurants in the city.

The brekky sandwich has a fluffy egg kids love, and the pastry case is worth the trip on its own: ensaymada (buttery brioche rolls), bibingka (coconut rice cake), and Filipino-inspired donuts. The shaken espresso with coconut condensed oat milk is also a move. Let your kid pick something they've never seen before. Counter service keeps it low-pressure, and there's a market section to browse. Get there early on weekends. No reservations, and the brunch line is real.
